HDP deputies Tuğba Hezer Öztürk and Faysal Sarıyıldız have lost their seats in the Turkish parliament.

As the parliamentary session on the internal regulation amendment, submitted by the AKP-MHP alliance, continues, the Turkish Parliament has approved a motion for the revocation of the parliamentary membership of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputies Faysal Sarıyıldız and Tuba Hezer due to “lack of attendance”.

The Turkish parliament has stripped of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) deputies Tuğba Hezer Öztürk and Faysal Sarıyıldız of their deputy statues due to non-attendance to parliamentary sessions.

The parliament previously stripped former HDP co-chair and Van deputy Figen Yüksekdağ and Diyarbakır deputy Nursel Aydoğan of lawmaker status over definitive court rulings. (EVRENSEL DAILY)
