International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) urged its members to send postcards to 158 journalists and media workers currently jailed in Turkey.

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) and Journalists Union of Turkey (TGS) have printed postcards with the names of the 158 journalists and media workers currently jailed in Turkey.

The names form the letter G for #Gazeteciliksuçdegildir or #Journalismisnotacrime

The IFJ urged its members to show their support to all the journalists and media workers in jail.

How to send a postcard to jailed journalists in Turkey?

1. Get in touch with the union or professional association in your country and ask them to send you the postcard or simply print a PDF version available here.

2. Click here to select who you want to send the postcard to and click on “Send her/him a postcard” to see the postal address of the prison.

3. Or send the postcard to the TGS. The union will get in touch with the journalist’s relatives or friends and share your message. (EVRENSEL DAILY)
