The action of the Istanbul Airport workers who stopped work over work safety has yielded gains

The workers halted work on 1 November seeking the taking of work safety measures. Negotiations took place between workers and company officials on the fourth day of the action. With demands for lighting of the construction site and enclosure of lift and shaft apertures with railings having been accepted, the workers started work.
